Melissa Audain is a dedicated Compliance and Government Reporting Analyst for Boeing Defense, Space & Security supporting the Boeing Military Aircraft (BMA) and Network Space and Systems (NS&S) portfolio. As a compliance analyst, Ms. Audain is responsible for supporting regulatory and procedural compliance, in line with the company’s strategic efforts in the utilization of small and diverse small businesses on federal prime contracts, as well as, leading all Supplier Diversity program reviews with the DCMA and SBA. With government reporting, Melissa provides detailed analytics for all defense programs in Boeing’s portfolio to ensure performance obligations are consistent with enterprise strategic imperatives and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Moreover, Melissa serves as a committee member on behalf of Boeing for the General Services Administration (GSA) Integrated Award Environment Systems’ Functional Team. She holds this position with the Aerospace Industry Association, simultaneously. In this role, Ms. Audain works directly with GSA system analysts and industry counterparts in the defining system requirements, testing, and implementation of a large scale reconfiguration of federal government reporting systems.
Previously, Ms. Audain was a Small Business Liaison Officer where she supported strategic efforts to identify, expand, and accelerate the use of Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) firms, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Historically Underutilized Business Zone Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) for subcontracting opportunities.
Outside of work, Melissa has a heart to serve others through enriching the lives of individuals within her community. She is an active member of her church, Christ- Centered A.R.M.E.D. Ministries, where she serves as the director of the Young Adults Ministry. Her philanthropic contributions extend to non-profit organizations St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, HearMeSee and Feed the Children.
Melissa Audain holds a degrees in Social Science (Economics) from the University of Southern California and Business Administration (Information Systems) from the University of Redlands, where she graduated at the top of her class. Moreover, Ms. Audain is a lifetime member of the Whitehead Leadership society for academic excellence and service to the community and a 2016 Women of Color Technology Rising Star recipient for accomplishments in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field.
